Accepting her first real case - investigating the murder of casino-mogul Ethan Becker - should be exciting. Instead, things spiral out of control and Tiffany finds herself in over her head, as she confronts secretive suspects, corrupt casino henchmen and her mysterious, ex-Special Forces bodyguard.
Tiffany's poker-hustling Nanna and pushy parents want her to find a nice man and settle down, but Tiffany just wants to track down the real murderer before he finds her first...

I Think:
The first book in english, what I read. I Searched a book with easy language, and I found it.
It’s a simple, crime-romantic story, with stereotypes, but that’s not disadvantage.
I enjoyed the author’s writing style’s. Its entertaining, and fun.
The story is simple, somebody kill a man, and the first suspected is his wife.
Tiffany proved, that it is false.
But the perpetrator want to kill her, and she get a bodyguard, who is really sexy, and dangerous, and Tiffany really

The characters are really funny. I haven’t other words for this.

"- I am too busy for that, Nanna. I...
  - You know - she said - You haven't beeb with a man in ages, In may day, we used to say, 'use it or lose it'.
I didn't want to know what 'it' was."

Tiffany wants to be very serious, and try to solved the problem, but she is in love with her guard. Se doesn’t know, how protect herself, but she is a Privat Investigator. But I can’t sweated for her, because she is too… comic.
Stone is a bodyguard, strong and unhesiating. His character is believable and accurate. I liked his scenes, he was my favourite. Her ship with Tiffany is very stereotype, because he is THE MAN. He has everything what the women want. However, they aren’t a couple, and I liked it.
Tiffany’s grandmother is crazy, she like a teenager, what is comic. I liked her sentences, because I can laugh a lot.

We can see the casino's life in Las Vegas a little bit. And the description of the scenes are very good, I can imagine the all.
The crime line was stronger, then the romance, but that novel is not Crime, and not Romance. Between the two.
This book is good for the boring night, or something, if you want to read an entertaining story.

The last sentence:
"And then I went back to practicing my shots"
